The Panorama Panthers football team suffered another loss on Friday night. This time to the Central Decatur Cardinals.
Historically this series had been dominated by the Panthers. They had won eight of the last ten meetings. That all changed Friday night. The Cardinals were coming into this game with an 0-2 record. Panorama an even 1-1.
Last year’s game was a defensive struggle that led to a 14-5 win for the Cardinals. That wasn’t the case Friday night as the Cardinals put up 61 points. The offensive explosion was enough to hold the Panthers. Central Decatur would come out on top, 61-27.
Panorama will have to regroup and focus on their next opponent. The 2-1 Van Meter Bulldogs. Kickoff will be at 7pm in Panora.
