One Jefferson-based bank recently announced some recognitions. 

Home State Bank CEO Sid Jones was named the 2022 recipient of the Robert D. Dixon Founders’ Award. This award was established in 2003 to recognize bankers who devote their lives and livelihoods to their communities. The award was named after Robert D. Dixon who co-founded the Community Bankers of Iowa in 1971.

Additionally, Home State Bank’s President Bob Allen and Adam Heun recently graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Heun also graduated in the top ten percent of his class.
