It was the home opener for ADM Tigers football on Friday night, and the Tigers were able to outscore North Polk 22-0 in the second half, overcoming a 2nd half deficit and grabbing the win 29-20. ADM moves to 3-0 on the year and North Polk falls to 2-1.
The Tigers were able to find a monster night from Brevin Doll, as he was able to rush for four touchdowns.
North Polk was able to put up two touchdowns to ADMs one in the first quarter, which was highlighted by a kickoff return for a touchdown. North Polk found more success in the 2nd quarter, when Brady Miller put up a 56 yard rushing touchdown to giving North Polk a 20-7 halftime lead.
ADM struggled to find footing in the 3rd quarter, but the defense was able to get stops before a Doll 15 yard rushing touchdown at the end of the quarter. After another stop, Doll rushed for 43 yards to give the Tigers the lead, and then a 76 yard rushing touchdown late in the 4th followed by an Aiden Flora 2 point conversion to ice the game.
Tigers football was able to find some special performances, including Karver Sutton grabbing two sacks in the 4th quarter, and Dane Beals and Vince Benetti both making major plays throughout.
ADM football will be hoping to finish out non-district play in style next week, when they will be taking on Winterset in Adel.
