When Greene County and Kuemper Catholic meet tomorrow night in non-district high school football, much attention will be paid to the two starting quarterbacks. With good reason, too, as juniors Gabe Ebersole for the Rams and DJ Vonnahme for the Knights are off to good starts, and both teams are 2-0.

Vonnahme has completed 68.8% of his 32 passes for 371 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. He has rushed for 53 yards on 12 carries and no TDs. Ebersole has thrown the ball 29 times, completing 13 for 230 yards. His completion percentage is at 44.8% with five TD passes and no interceptions. He’s also run the ball 19 times for 162 yards, which is 8.5 yards per carry, and he’s scored twice on the ground.
