The Perry City Council approved a purchase agreement for the sale of city owned property at their regular meeting Tuesday.

The council approved the agreement between the City and Semper Fi Solutions, LLC for property in the amount of $134,000 with the City crediting the buyer with a $24,000 economic development grant at the time of closing. Also, the Board approved a Federal Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program grant agreement.

The Council then approved two resolutions accepting an FAA Airport Improvement Program grant agreements. Then the Council approved a pay application for relocation of runway 14/32 in the amount of $371,159 to Wenthold Excavating, LLC and a pay application in the amount of $1,065,730 to Woodruff Constructions for the wastewater treatment facility improvements.

Then the Council approved the sale of unused or outdated equipment for a 2013 Ford Interceptor Sedan, certifying the population of voluntarily annexed territories in the City of Perry, an hourly services agreement with ETHOS Design Group, Inc for architectural services on an as needed basis, an American Water Total Treatment Program for water treatment on a quarterly basis within the HVAC systems for the McCreary Community Building and a proposal and authorizing for maintenance repairs to the McCreary Community Building facilities in the amount of $52,079.

Finally, the Council approved the purchase of a used ambulance for the Perry Fire Department not to exceed $12,500, a withdrawal from a intergovernmental action agreement, addressing a parcel, approving a job description and wage for the assistant chief of police and job description and pay range for the marketing and engagement coordinator of $45,000-$55,000 both in Perry.
