Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for LaVere Derry, 91, of Rippey. LaVere died September 4, 2022 at Windsor Manor in Nevada. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Rippey. Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 1:00 until 7:00 p.m. with family hours from 5-7 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.

LaVere is survived by his wife Beverly of Rippey, daughter Teri Derry of Ames, son Mike Derry of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; grandsons John Derry of Chicago and Luke Derry of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; brother Chuck Derry of Rippey, and brother-in-law George Millard of Rippey.
