The Perry football team will return home tonight for a 7:00 non-district game against Greene County.  The Rams are 1-0 this season while Perry enters with a mark of 0-2.  Perry lost to Panorama 39-21 in week 0 and last Friday night, was shutout by Ogden 41-0.  Head Coach Bryce Pierce knows that the passing game has to pick up.

“We need to get Check (Caden Heck) going.  Our offensive line needs to do a better job in protecting him and he can do a better job stepping up and into the pocket.  If we can do those things, we have some weapons on the outside that could open up our offense.”

Juan Hernandez has been the main weapon for Perry leading the Bluejays in rushing through the first two weeks.  Hernandez has rushed for over 220 yards through two weeks.  Keegan Synder is averaging around 3 yards per carry.
