The Perry Chamber of Commerce is now accepting grant applications for funds they receive from the City of Perry’s hotel/motel tax. 

The deadline to submit a grant application is by October 19th to the Perry Chamber, and funding allocations will be announced in November with a check presentation to be held at a later date. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations whose project has a beneficial impact on the Perry community. 

Some of the other guidelines include projects that are creative and enhance the attractiveness of Perry and encourage tourism or promote events that draw visitors to Perry. The Perry Chamber receives a portion of the hotel/motel tax from the City of Perry and utilizes it in a variety of ways including this grant program.
