The Panorama Panthers volleyball team took part in a triangular match earlier this week on Tuesday and it’s time to take a look at how that turned out.

The Panorama Panthers volleyball team is currently in the midst of their long regular season slate of games and this week they took part in a triangular match right at home at Panorama High School against the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans and Greene County Rams.

The Panthers took on a strong Titans team that is currently 5-3 on the season so far and when they faced the Panthers they took both sets by score of 25-10 and the second set the Titans won 25-3. This loss dropped the Panthers record to an even 2-2 on the year.

Then the Panthers took on the Greene County Rams in the second match of the triangular match on Tuesday where they battled but ultimately fell by scores of 25-12 and 25-19 with the Rams taking both sets to win the match that dropped the Panthers overall record to 2-3 on the year so far.

While the Panthers we unable to come away with a victory in this week’s triangular match there are some positives to take away from the season so far as earlier this year they headed to Coon Rapids-Bayard High School to take on the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders and Audubon Wheelers in a triangular match where the Panthers won both matches.

Next up on the schedule is a match against the Van Meter Bulldogs who are currently 5-2 on the year and second in the West Central Activities Conference standings. The Panthers will be headed to Van Meter to take on the Bulldogs next week beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 6th.
