Paton-Churdan defeated Orient-Macksburg last volleyball season for the lone victory under then-first year head coach Makayla Sparr. Last night the Rockets played O-M in Orient to begin the 2022 season and the host Bulldogs won in four sets by scores of 22-25, 25-23, 13-25, 21-25. O-M is 1-1 while P-C starts 0-1.

Coach Sparr told Raccoon Valley Radio the result wasn’t what the Rockets were looking for, but she saw improved play.

Up next for the Rockets is Saturday’s Coon Rapids-Bayard tournament in Coon Rapids.
