The Guthrie County Supervisors met on Tuesday.

The Board held a public hearing and approved amending the Guthrie County zoning ordinance and official zoning map for the property on 3571 310th Street in Dexter. The property will be rezoned from a residential property to a highway commercial district for the intent of the owner to use the property as an auto repair business.  The Board also approved the abatement of delinquent property taxes for a city of Bagley property ($88) and establishing an opioid settlement fund for the money the county will receive from the state of Iowa’s settlement with five major pharmaceutical companies in an opioid lawsuit.

They tabled the Motorola proposal for dispatch console to hear another offer from a company called Mindshare Technology and a rental agreement for the Emergency Management Agency building for further evaluation of the insurance.
