Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center was one of the smallest teams to compete in the Dallas Center Grimes Invitational but they had a strong finish.

The Chargers boys team finished in sixth place in a 10 team field with 146 points. Leaders in the individual category include Andrew Mahaffey  clocking in at 17 minutes and 56 seconds that was good enough for 18th place also Justin Reinhart finished in 28th and Gavin Sloss grabbed 31st.

The Lady Chargers placed in eighth out of a field of 10 teams with 176 points. Top finishers include Ava Campbell placing in fourth with a time of 20 minutes and 47 seconds along with Adalyn Benson collecting 32nd and Hayden Coffman placing 39th.

The next meet for AC/GC will be in Ames for the Iowa State Cross Country Course on September 8th.
