The Dallas Center Fall Festival kicked off yesterday with plenty of fun activities and there is more fun in store today. 

The event includes the tractor show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 13th Street along with the car, truck and motorcycle show at the same time on Walnut Street.

Also, there will be the Unity Point Children’s Fire Safety House from noon-3 p.m. at the fire station, dodge ball from 1-3 p.m. at the Mound Park Tennis Courts and the pie eating contest sponsored by Baker’s Pantry from 2:30-3 p.m. at the Walnut Street Main Stage. 

There will also be the inauguration of the Dallas Center Dog Mayor beginning at 3 p.m. on the Walnut Street main stage and the festival will end with fireworks and the music extravaganza beginning at dusk at the Burnett Complex.
