The Dallas County Health Department will soon be hosting a program for people to learn more about resources available within the county.
The Dallas County Community Health Speaker Series will have a September meeting from 9-10 a.m. September 1st via Zoom and Public Information Officer Ann Cochran says this quarterly meeting features updates and discussions on various topics.
“The Dallas County Community Health Speaker Series highlights community agencies that are available to improve the health and wellbeing of Dallas County residents. The quarterly meetings are open to all community partners and to the public.”
Cochran tells Raccoon Valley Radio this next event will also feature new information about the Senior Health Insurance Information Program which helps Medicare participants make changes to their coverage. Cochran talks about another topic that will also be discussed.
“The speaker meeting will also have time for discussion of the 2023 through 2025 community health plan for our county.”
