The Jefferson Public Library is hosting another author talk event this weekend.

Darcy Maulsby is the author of “Iowa’s Lost History on the Titanic” and she will be at the Greene County Historical Museum Sunday at 2pm. Her book chronicles the passengers on the Titanic that had Iowa ties when the ship sank on April 15, 1912. Jefferson Library Director Jane Millard says Maulsby was slated to do this same presentation in April of 2020 but they had to reschedule due to the covid pandemic.

Maulsby’s other books include, “A Culinary History of Iowa,” “Iowa Agriculture: A History of Farming, Family and Food,” “Calhoun County,” “Dallas County,” and “Classic Restaurants of Des Moines and Their Recipes.”

Sunday’s program is free and open to the public.
