The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved a property tax suspension at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

The Board approved a suspension as it is allowed upon parcels owned or possessed by a person who is the recipient of assistance received either through Supplemental Security Income, state supplementary assistance, or a resident of a healthcare facility. 

Also, the Board approved an Iowa Prayer Caucus Network courthouse lawn event request for Tuesday, September 6th through Thursday, September 8th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day and 7 a.m. to Noon on Friday, September 9th to read the Bible cover to cover.
