If you are looking for plenty of fun activities to take part in coming up soon, the Dallas Center Fall Festival is taking place later this week.
The festival will begin this Friday with activities including the judging of the Ugliest Cake Contest from 5-5:30 p.m. on the United Methodist Church lawn, along with free hotdogs provided by Raccoon Valley Bank, and the Ohana Pedal Power Tractor Pull from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Walnut Street.
Saturday, will bring plenty more fun activities including the tractor show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 13th Street along with the car, truck and motorcycle show at the same time on Walnut Street. There will also be the inauguration of the Dallas Center Dog Mayor from 3-3:30 p.m. on the Walnut Street main stage and the festival will end with fireworks and music extravaganza beginning at dusk at the Burnett Complex.
