The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently instructed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to seize records from former President Donald Trump’s property in Mar-a-Lago and a representative discusses the unprecedented action. 

US Senator Chuck Grassley said there has never been a former President’s house raided in this fashion. Grassley explained he’s erging the FBI and DOJ to be more transparent and answer the questions he is asking.

“For instance the way the (FBI) treated Hillary Clinton with similar things and there is no doubt that her server was compromised, they negotiated with her, they didn’t raid her home.”

Grassley accuses the FBI of operating with a left leaning political bias and gave the example of when FBI special agent Timothy Thibault refused to open an investigation on Hunter Biden’s alleged crimes that include illegal foreign business dealing and financials and instead opened an investigation on Trump. He states he will lead an investigation on the FBI no matter the result in November. 

“But I will be continuing my investigation, I’m not going to start, I am going to continue and I’m going to continue even if (Republicans) are not in the majority.” 

Grassley continued by warning the FBI Director Christopher Wray that this recent search of former President Trump’s Mar-La-Go could impact the agency’s credibility in a negative way.
