Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys cross country will have the majority of their roster back from last year’s team. The 2021 edition was able to qualify as a team, and though they lose multiple top runners from that team, there’s still plenty on the cupboard for this Tiger program.

Sophomore Torin Timmerman, junior Hunter Landphair, and junior Hubie Chaplin all were apart of the team that made it to state last year, and all will be looking to make big impacts at the varsity level this year.

The Tigers will not have Cooper Greenslade or Quinton Kimrey with both runners gone due to graduation, but have many runners that are gearing up at multiple levels, and hope that improvement from runners in the offseason will allow the program to compete at high levels.

The program has a lot of runners competing overall, with fifteen freshmen, eleven sophomores, six seniors, and five juniors on the roster according to varsity bound, with nearly all runners putting together strong preseason training.

Tigers cross country will be having their first race on Saturday, September 3rd when they run at Central College in Pella.
