The West Central Valley Wildcats football team is all set to get their 2022 season started this week, as they host a Gatorade Scrimmage against the Madrid Tigers on Friday. Last year the Tigers were able to hold off the Wildcats in a hard fought game, leaving West Central Valley with a 14-17 loss.

The Wildcats return a majority of their players, but lost 8 seniors from last year’s team. This year’s 14 seniors will be looked at to bring some much appreciated experience for the underclassmen, with 13 freshmen joining the team.

The new freshman are Landon Brumley, Wyatt McKibbin, Kason Bender, Roman Hammond, Aiden Clauson, Asher Coil, Jarel Madison, Cyler Joint, Connor Beane, Bradlee Alm, Aron Love, Cael Lawson and Kade Wilson.
