12:25am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Hendricks Street, Rippey.

6:53am: The Sheriff and deputies assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a search warrant in the 200 block of North Maple Street, Jefferson.

8:26am: A deputy investigated a complaint of a small pig on N Avenue near 140th Street.

2:45pm: William Duff 20 of Scranton was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

9:21pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1200 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

Saturday, August 13th

2:03am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 700 block of North Street, Churdan.

10:39am: The Sheriff investigated an abandoned car near 305th Street and Sherwood Avenue.

10:56am: The Sheriff investigated a civil issue in the 200 block of South 7th Street. Property was returned to the owners.

3:48pm: The Sheriff assisted with cattle out on 230th Street and Hillcrest Avenue.

6:30pm: Miranda Schlicht 23 of Ralston was booked into the jail for a violation of a no contact order.

7:42pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a harassment complaint at Casey’s.

8:27pm: A deputy located several kids playing on the railroad tracks under the overpass in Jefferson.

10:00pm: A deputy assisted a Jailer with an unruly inmate.

10:24pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

Sunday, August 14th

12:57pm: A deputy transported a runaway back to Jefferson from Sioux City.

5:20pm: The Sheriff investigated a civil issue in the 1900 block of 130th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
