The fall sports season is fast approaching in the State of Iowa and it’s time to look at when the the first regular season dates will be for each team.
Beginning with the football season the Panthers football team will be taking the field this week with a week zero game against the Perry Bluejays. The Panthers and Bluejays will be squaring off at Dewey Field in Perry beginning at 7 p.m. this Friday.
Last season the Panthers finished out their year with an overall record of 1-7 while the Bluejays made their first appearance in the Heart of Iowa Conference and finished their year out with a record of 0-9 in a tough conference.
Moving onto the next sport new Head Coach Mollie Sorber will lead her squad out on the court against a different team for the first time this season when they head to Ignite Sports and Fitness in Grimes to take part in a varsity scrimmage beginning at 3:30 p.m. August 18th. The following week on August 23rd the Panthers volleyball team will be taking on the West Central Valley Wildcats at home beginning at 7 p.m. August 23rd in their first regular season game.
The Panorama Panthers boys and girls cross country teams will have to wait just a little bit longer to get out on the course and compete in regular season action as their first meet will be on August 25th beginning at 5 p.m. when they head to the Gowrie Country Club to participate in a JV/Varsity invitational.
The wait is almost over for Panthers fans as the fall sports season is just around the corner for players and fans to show some Panorama Pride.
