The Greene County Medical Center has expanded one of its services and lowered costs to support more community members.

The lab at the medical center is now open 6am-7pm Monday through Friday with no appointments needed. They are also now offering a wider array of diagnostic and follow-up testing, with patients receiving results the same day to over 100 different types of tests. Director of Laboratory Services Jo Hart hopes that by increasing their hours and services, it will motivate Greene County residents to be more healthy.

Additionally, wellness testing does not need a physician’s order and can be done anytime. Costs for these services have also been reduced to further help members of the community. Contact the lab at 515-386-2114 for more information.
