1:44am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 500 block of D Avenue.

4:17am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 150th Street.

9:03am: The Sheriff investigated a suspicious person in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

9:47am: The Sheriff investigated a two-vehicle backing accident in the 200 block of West Main Street, Grand Junction. Jacqueline Ray 49 of Grand Junction was traveling west on Main Street in a 2018 Ford Focus. Stephen Kennedy 63 of Grand Junction was backing out of a parking spot in a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. Jacqueline struck the rear bumper of the truck causing an estimated 7,500 dollars damage to the Focus and an estimated 500 dollars damage to the truck. Nobody was injured in the accident.

10:20am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 1500 block of 225th Street.

10:33am: The Sheriff assisted with a medical call in the 2400 block of 337th Street.

2:54pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 2400 block of 337th Street.

6:01pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

9:31pm: A deputy assisted with an unruly patient at the Greene County Medical Center.

10:10pm: A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 1600 block of 180th Street.

10:15pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Hendricks Street, Rippey.

Thursday, August 11th

3:08am: A deputy assisted with an assault at the Greene County Medical Center.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
