The Guthrie County Supervisors met for their regular meeting Tuesday.
The Board discussed with the city of Guthrie Center about the street repairs needed on Grand Street. The city of Guthrie Center wants the county to be involved in fixing the street after Jensen Construction disturbed the brick on Grand Street. The Board decided to table the item and further evaluate their options to fix the street.
The Board also discussed but did not take action on extending the Tax Increment Financing Agreement for the city of Panora for five years. The extension from 10 to 15 years would help the city’s funds for the Clay Street Project. The Board tabled the item for further consideration.
Next, the Board tabled the two bids from Irlmeier Construction and Gingerich Structures for the Transfer Station Maintenance Building to further investigate the quotes. Finally, the Board approved Secondary Roads payroll change notices for Mike Kenyon as a truck driver and Jeremy Wolfe as an equipment operator.
