While basketball is still a long ways away, a high profiled website ranked Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center basketball in their “Way Too Early Top 10,” teams in class 1a basketball.

The website states the Chargers are likely to drop to class 1a for the upcoming season.  ACGC will return 69 percent of their scoring but will miss Miles Kading who led almost every statistical category with 19 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. The seniors coming back for the Chargers averaged close to 40 points per game that includes Ben Marsh, Brock Littler, Austin Kunkle and Jedd Weinkoetz. Also the youth in the program saw significant playing time that includes Anthony Solorano, Lance Bunde and Noah Kading. Another West Central Activities Conference named in the “Way Too Early Top Ten,” was Madrid.
