The final week of the regular season for the Panorama Panthers football team will have the Panthers facing off against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines in Greenfield.

Last season in the regular season finale the Panthers battled against the Wolverines but came up short as Nodaway was able to come away with a 36-14 victory but Panorama continues to lead the all-time matchup with a 4-1 record as last year was the first time the Wolverines were able to get a victory.

Leading last year’s game was Cayden VanMeer in passing going 9/22 for 83 yards while also contributing 17 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Cooper Andersen led in rushing with 71 yards on the ground on seven attempts and Braedon Draper led in receiving with two receptions for 48 yards and Josh VanWinkle led the defense with 5.5 tackles and one tackle for loss. Draper and VanMeer will be returning this season while VanWinkle and Andersen have since graduated.

Leading the way for the Wolverines last season was Nathan Russell who went 14/30 for 162 yards and two touchdowns and one touchdown on the ground while Boston Devault led in receiving with eight receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown while Caelen Devault led the defense with 8.5 tackles, two tackles for loss and one interception. Caelen Devault and Russell will not be on the field this year as they have since graduated.

This will be the final week of the regular season for the Panorama Panthers football team as they will be looking to improve their all-time record against the Wolverines to 5-1 when they face off at 7 p.m. October 14th in Greenfield.
