The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network takes a rewind and looks at the 2021-22 Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center boys basketball team.
The Chargers finished the year with a record of 17 wins and 5 losses and a conference record of (13-3) which was good enough for 3rd in the West Central Activites Conferece. A highlight in the regular season was AC/GC winning six straight games heading into district play that includes wins over Southwest Valley, Interstate 35, Woodward Academy, Pleasantville, West Central Valley and Madrid. Senior, Miles Kading led the team in scoring with 418 points, rebounds with 143 and steals win 70. Ben Marsh as a Junior was not to far off of the top scorer 329 points and grabbing 108 rebounds.
The Chargers season concluded in the Class 2A Region 8 Quaterfinal with a loss to Panorama (47-59). Miles Kading was named to the first team all West Central Activites Conference team, Ben Marsh was named to the second team and Jedd Weinkoetz and Brock Littler were listed as honorable mentions.
