The Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club recently announced the July Yard Of The Month. 

Chamber President Shannon Neff-Muell says that the yard of the month winner went to Del and Sharon Wedemeyer. Neff-Muell states that the yard of the month initiative continues to spruce up Guthrie Center. 

“I mean, obviously, when people take pride in their homes and in their yards, it just makes our town look clean and inviting. And, again, just shows that sense of pride. So I think this is kind of a neat way to recognize people that really go above and beyond.”

The award will be given to the best kept property through October and the winner will receive $100 in chamber bucks.
