Dallas Center – Grimes volleyball will be looking for a bounce back season after a losing record in 2021, and should have a good amount of talent back in the program this upcoming year.

Mustang volleyball finished 16-22 in the 2021 season, and finished 7th out of 8 teams in the Little Hawkeye Conference as well, as they played a difficult schedule that included multiple close loses throughout.

The Mustangs have lost their top kills, digs, and assists leaders due to graduation, but will be returning multiple starters on both the front and back lines that should be able to contribute in a positive manner.

Mustang volleyball made the state tournament in 2020, so success has been recent for the program under the direction of Cheryl Voelker.

DCG will be doing some offseason training throughout the week, and will be having their first official practice on Monday, August 8th.
