Recent Paton-Churdan High School athlete Bradyn Smith talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about his high school career. He played football for Greene County in the shared athletic program and earned All-State honors, and was an athlete for P-C as well.
“I personally liked that I was able to be from Paton-Churdan and represent P-C at Greene County. I got to be really close with my teachers and stuff, and I also got to play sports and do other things with Jefferson. I enjoyed that!”
Smith played in the July 16 Shrine Bowl All-Star football game for Greene County on the South squad, and Ram head coach Caden Duncan was a South assistant coach. Smith’s future plans don’t include athletics as he has enrolled in the engineering program at Iowa State Unversity.
