The Adel Public Library will be wrapping up the summer reading program tomorrow with a fun event.

The public is invited to come out to the library between 4-5:30 p.m. to join a camp-themed party to celebrate the end of summer reading. There is no registration required and everyone is welcome to attend the come and go program.

Activities will include fun and entertaining stations, a family scavenger hunt and reading under the stars in the storytime room.

The Adel Public Library Summer Reading Program officially ended on July 29th and Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says they are still going through the numbers.

“We will be excited to release the number of all of the residents of Adel as well as the surrounding area who have participated in our summer reading program.”
