The Panorama Panthers football team will continue to prepare for the upcoming season which will feature a week zero game against an unfamiliar opponent.
The Panorama Panthers football team will take the field for the first time this season on August 19th beginning at 7 p.m. when they take on the Class 4A Perry Bluejays at Dewey Field in Perry for a week zero game as both teams will be getting their first look at each other.
Last season the Panthers finished out their year with an overall record of 1-7 while the Bluejays made their first appearance in the Heart of Iowa Conference and finished their year out with a record of 0-9 in a tough conference.
The Panthers Football team will be looking to improve on their season from a year ago as they were trying to fill holes that were left from the previous seasons senior class and there were plenty of positives to take away from last year that can be the building blocks for this season. The week zero game will serve as a way for the Panthers to see where they are at early on in the season.
The Panorama Panthers and Perry Bluejays football teams will face off in a week zero matchup for the first action this season as the Panthers will be traveling to Dewey Field in Perry to take on the Bluejays beginning at 7 p.m. August 19th.
