Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball will have a new face to the program this upcoming fall, as Trevor Irwin will be handed the reigns to a program that has seen a lot of success in years past.
Irwin was the coach at ACGC High School from 2018-2020, where he was able to bring some great success under his direction, 2018 the team going 21-10 and grabbing a 3rd place finish in the West Central Activities conference, the 2019 team finishing 28-8 and 2nd in the conference and the 2020 team finishing 17-6 and 2nd in the conference. He was the conference coach of the year in 2019. He also coached some great talent as well, including Chloe Largent at ACGC, who is going to be playing college volleyball at Northern Iowa this fall.
Irwin will be familiar with the ADM program, as he did serve as an assistant for the program in 2021. Tiger volleyball was able to show some promise with a very young team from a year ago finishing with a 16-12 record, and will be projected to return the majority of the team this upcoming year.
Tiger volleyball will be going through off-season workouts this upcoming week to gear up for the season, with the first practice of the year to be happening next Monday.
