It’s hard to believe the summer is almost over but with that comes the second of this year’s Friday Fests with the Perry Chamber of Commerce.

The first Friday Fest of the year was held in June and now this Friday running from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Pattee Park will be the last one of the year. The featured live music will be Rescue Dogs and Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti encourages people to come out.

“Really looking forward to having that extra live music event. It’s ‘Bring your own basket’ so pack your cooler, get some snacks or plan on bringing some cash for some of the vendors that we’ll have. The (Perry) fire department for sure will be doing a grill out and I think we’ll have one other food vendor.”

People are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as well as yard games. The fire department will have food available as a fundraiser which will include your choice of a meat and chips and a drink for $5.

Also, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Little Big Red Radio will be live on location from 4-6 p.m. for Friday Fest.
