Dallas Center – Grimes football will be having their first official practice of the fall season next Monday, but will be hosting a football camp this week for all high school players grades 9-12. The camp is a tradition for DCG football, with this being the 19th annual addition.

Many players that are projected to be on the football team will be participating in this, and usually serves as a great opportunity for coaches and players to begin installation of drills and schemes for the new season.

DCG football will be looking to find a way back to the state playoffs after failing to qualify in 2021, and are projected to have a quality team on the field this upcoming season.

The camp will be happening today through Friday with each session being 4:30 – 6:30 pm with camp to happen at DCG High School Stadium.
