The month of August is officially here, and for football across the state of Iowa, it is 25 days until week number 1 of the high school football season. For ADM Tigers football, they will be getting geared up for an exciting season ahead with a schedule that should definitely test them as they look to qualify for the state playoffs another year.
ADM will be having a tough start to their season, as they will begin with a pair of road games with Gilbert for week 1 and Ballard for week 2, before getting back to back home games in week 3 and 4, with North Polk the home opener and then Winterset for week 4. Then the Tigers will enter district play, making the trip to Atlantic for week 5 before an intriguing home game against Creston for week 6. They travel to the defending state champion Harlan for week 7, have their final regular season home game against Knoxville for week 8, and then finish the regular season at Saydel.
ADM went 7-3 last year, and were able to qualify for the state playoffs as well.
ADM will be having their first practice of the season next Monday August 8th, but will be continue to work on off-season conditioning throughout the week this week.
