A particular 2021 fall sport will stamped their name in the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School history book.

The AC/GC boys cross country team won the class 1a state championship in Fort Dodge.

Senior Trevin Suhr led charge for his team finishing state championship race in fourth place running a time of 16 minutes and 38 seconds. Andrew Mahaffey ran a time of 17 minutes and 19 seconds and finished 17th and Justin Reinhart and Kaden Thompson both finished in the top 25. The AC/GC cross country team finished in first place in seven total events and never finished lower than third in a meet. The team had three seniors that include Trevin Suhr, Kaden Thompson and Zander Kenyon.  Trevin Suhr was selected to the All-State team and finished the year as the third best runner in the state for class 1a.
