One Dallas County farm family will be recognized at the upcoming Iowa State Fair for their hard work and dedication to agriculture.

ET Livestock, Steve and Eric Taylor in Bouton, is one of seven families to be named as a 2022 recipient of the Way We Live Award sponsored by Pioneer. The award is in its 14th year and has already recognized 76 Iowa farm families.

The Taylor family is a multi-generational farm family dating back to 1941 and has been diversified between livestock and row crops and uses modern practices to raise a wholesome crop.

Each family will receive a prize pack of $250, complimentary admission tickets, free parking, various coupons and recognition in the Paul R. Knapp Animal Learning Center during the state fair in August with an overnight stay in the Holiday Inn Downtown Mercy Campus.
