Officer Irving and K9 Ally

The Stuart Police Department has received a generous donation and will put it to good use. 

K9 Ally is a drug prevention and tracking dog and she recently received a bullet and stab protective vest from the non-profit organization called Vested Interest in K9s. The charitable organization’s mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement or related agencies throughout the United States. 

The vest will potentially add lifesaving body armor for K9 Ally and is made in the US, custom-fitted, and certified. The vest is estimated to cost between  $1,700 and $2,200.
