Greene County High School junior Emma Hoyle has been named to the Class 3A Central Iowa All-District team for the 2022 softball season by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. Hoyle earlier was named a first team pitcher by coaches from the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference.

Hoyle went 13-12 for the 13-13 Rams this season, and had 230 strikeouts in 165 innings pitched. She hit .295 with a team best 25 runs batted in, and Hoyle hit the only two home runs the Rams had in 2022.

The Heart of Iowa Activities Conference occupied seven of the 16 positions on the All-District team.
