A new website for a Jefferson organization has a new feature.
Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Events and Tourism Coordinator Matt Wetrich says the experiencejeffersoniowa.com website allows individuals to add their own community events.
“And that’s really cool because we want to be able to promote events. Our buddy Abby McConnell is kind of on the backside of that. I guess she has the final say if it’s appropriate to be on there, but I would assume most things probably would fit the bill there. It is a resource that I tap into almost daily and tell people about daily when they call the Welcome Center.”
Wetrich encourages everyone to check out the new website that shows someone wanting to plan a trip to visit Jefferson, everything the city has to offer.
“Really, really user friendly. I think Abby (McConnell) has done a great job. It’s laid out in a couple of different ways (with) some neat pictures and video on there (and) everything from food, to events, to attractions, to family stuff.”
