1:06pm: An officer investigated a Backing Accident at 508 North Elm Street. A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, owned and operated by Jamie Espinoza of Jefferson, was backing in the parking lot and backed into a pole near the fuel pumps. The vehicle had a reported $4000.00 in damages, while the pole had a reported $200.00 in damage. Espinoza was cited for, “Open Container – Driver.”

4:19pm: Dollar General reported catching a juvenile shoplifting items at 104 North Locust Street. The juvenile had taken $32.80 worth of merchandise. The officer sent a Charge of 5th Degree Theft to the Juvenile Court for the 14-year-old female.

6:25pm: Robin Bonner reported finding a Vaping Device in her juvenile daughter’s bedroom again. The officer issued the juvenile a citation for, “Person Under 21 Using Vape Device 2nd Offense.

7:17pm: The Wild Rose casino reported a subject on the Gaming Floor, who had signed a Self-Exclusion Form in Iowa. The officer issued a Summons to Appear for, “Trespassing” to Semir Osman Ali of Sioux City.
