Graduated senior Bryce Stalder is done playing baseball for Greene County, but he’ll join the Grandview University (Des Moines) baseball team starting this fall. Stalder and junior Brayden Roberts were the two Rams named to the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference first team released last week.
Head coach Matt Paulsen talked about Stalder. “He’s been a varsity player since he was in eighth grade and contributed so much to our program. He’s got a really nice swing from the left side of the plate and plays an outstanding shortstop. He’ll be missed and we wish him well at Grand View.”
Stalder hit .476 this season for the 8-15 Rams. He was 22 of 24 on stolen base attempts and had six doubles, four triples, and 10 runs batted in.
