Friday, July 22nd

10:56am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical call in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street.

2:20pm: The GCMC requested an officer conduct a Welfare Check on a subject in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street. The officer located the subject and advised them to call the hospital.

3:14pm: Angela Milakovich requested officers at 408 North Cedar Street, for a report of a family member assaulting them inside the residence. The officer’s investigation led to Arrest Warrants being requested for Blake Matthew Millard, 36 of Jefferson for, “3 Counts/Assault causing Bodily Injury – Serious.” The family reported Millard was “Missing” the next day. He was entered into NCIC as a Missing Person.” Millard was later located in Perry and taken to ER for an Evaluation.

3:53pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 401 East Central Ave. The business was found to be secure.

6:06pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 900 Block of West Adams Street.

8:04pm: Casey’s requested officers at 508 North Elm Street, for a reported Intoxicated Male. It was reported the male was screaming at store clerks before leaving the business. A short time later, officers located the subject at a residence at 706 South High Street. The officers arrested Sirjohn Daniels Wilder, 37 of Jefferson and charged him with, “Public Intoxication-Simple, Disorderly Conduct- Simple and Harassment 3rd Degree – Simple.”

8:13pm: Arlene Hamling reported a purchase had been made on-line using her Bank card. She later discovered the company had charged her an additional amount of, money, over the purchase price.

10:17pm: Chris Kurth requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 700 Block of South Elm Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who advised they were fine.

11:00pm: A caller advised of a Barking Dog in the 700 Block of South Elm Street. The officer located the dog, but no one was home at the residence. The owner was contacted by phone and they advised they would come home and put the animal inside.

Saturday, July 23rd

1:03am: An officer witnessed a vehicle roll through the posted Stop Sign at 220th and Elm Streets. The vehicle continued traveling east on 220th Street, in the westbound lane. The office performed a Traffic Stop with the vehicle at 220th and Flack Ave. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Bryan J Bryant, 64 of Denison for, OWI 1st Offense – Serious, Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability – Simple, Fraudulent Use of Registration – Simple, and Driving on Wrong Side of Two-Lane Highway.”

3:38am: Stacy Meyers reported “Loud Noise” near the 100 Block of South Grimmell Road. The officer did not locate the source.

7:38am: A Traffic Stop in the 1500 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Jennifer Bainbridge of Ida Grove being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

9:05am: Roger Chesler reported a neighbor’s door was open and the dogs were running around the yard. The officer made contact with the owner, who was ill. She took care of the door being open.

5:36pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 401 East Central Ave. The business was found to be secure.

7:08pm: An officer assisted a subject in the 1300 Block of Ferguson Circle with opening a valve on an oxygen tank.

9:22pm: An officer was advised dispatch had received an Abandoned 911 call on West Sunset Road. The officer did not locate anyone needing assistance in the area.

Sunday, July 24th

1:06am: An officer located an Open Door at 1409 North Elm Street.

1:55am: An officer located an Open Door at 407 East Central Ave. The officer secured the business.

2:33am: An officer located an Open Door at 600 East Lincoln Way and secured the building.

7:56am: A Traffic Stop in the 1700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Michael Wilson of Fort Dodge being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

10:37am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of South Maple Street.

7:32pm: A caller advised of children screaming in a residence in the 600 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. The officer made contact with a parent inside the residence, who advised the children had been wrestling around and yelling.

8:39pm: A Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Richard Kilgore of MT. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

Monday, July 25th

12:57am: An officer located a subject in Russell Park. The officer advised the park was closed and the subject went on their way.

2:09am: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 250th Street resulted in John Reed of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:03am: A Traffic Stop in the 400 Block of South Cedar Street resulted in Rickie Eugene Tuhn, 61 of Jefferson, being arrested for, “Driving While Barred – Aggravated.”

12:10pm: Kurt Meinecke reported a cat stuck in the motor compartment of a vehicle parked at 106 West Washington Street. The officer assisted in removing the cat from the vehicle.

3:41pm: Regency Park reported a resident was missing $80.00 cash from her wallet. An investigation has begun.

4:05pm: Wild Rose Casino Staff reported they had located a baggy containing suspected methamphetamine on the Gaming Floor. The staff had reviewed video and knew the male subject who had dropped the item. The officer located the suspect leaving the parking lot in a vehicle and flagged him down and spoke with him. The officer issued Kent Peninger of Jefferson citations for, “Driving While Suspended and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.” The item will be sent to DCI Lab for testing, with charges pending results.

8:38pm: Jerry Danley reported a Careless Driver on 220 th Street, heading westbound into Jefferson. The officer located the semi and followed it for a distance. No infractions were witnessed by the officer.

9:30pm: Officers blocked traffic at 220th and Elm Streets for an emergent Ambulance coming from Churdan.
