The Guthrie County Supervisors met Tuesday.

The Board discussed but did not take action on the resolution declaring Emergency Medical Services as an essential service and appointing an advisory council. The Board discussed appointing roughly 15 members to the council that would provide guidance, research and act in the welfare of a countywide EMS system.

The Board approved two new hires that include Roger Willms as a truck driver for the Transfer Station and Tracy Foster as a road grader for the Secondary Roads Department. Also, the Board approved the cancellation of a roadside mowing contract, 2022 disabled veteran homestead tax credit applications and the building specifications and bid letting for the Transfer Station Maintenance building. They did not take action on the tax increment financing expenditure planning for the White Pole Road project for further information on estimates of a road conditions test and a rental agreement with the emergency management property for further consideration.
