When the Adel Sweet Corn Festival kicks off later this year, the journey will continue to find this year’s Sweet Corn Princess. 

For girls in the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Community School District who are entering into grades third through fourth this fall, they are encouraged to register for this year’s Sweet Corn Princess competition that will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 12th. 

The princess and her court will be selected by random drawing and the deadline to register is Friday, July 29th by 6 p.m. There will also be a practice session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 10th on the stage at 10th Street and Main in Adel.
