A Panora man suffered injuries from a single vehicle crash Saturday.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident at 3:43pm on Iowa Highway 25 North. A 2014 Harley Davidson Motorcycle was headed southbound on Highway 25, when the driver 26-year-old Cody Fox, took evasive action when a raccoon ran across the roadway. Fox lost control of the vehicle as it went onto the west shoulder of the road and then slid into a ditch on its side, ejecting the driver.
The crash report shows Fox suffered minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital. The vehicle sustained $3,500 in damages and Fox was cited for failure to maintain and driving with a suspended license.
