The Adel Public Library is gearing up for a fun event soon in partnership with Dallas County Extension and Outreach. 

The Campout Cooking for Kids program will take place at 2 p.m. July 26th at the library and the deadline to register for the event is tomorrow. Patron Services Manager Amy Puck talks about what the program will provide which is geared toward youth.

“They are going to be partaking in cooking and eating different types of camp snacks, showing everybody food preparation, food safety. It’s going to be a lot of fun with lots of fun foods involved.”

There will be a free will donation accepted during the event that will help fund similar programming in the future and all supplies will be provided.
