8:56am: Public Works reported Criminal Mischief to the restroom at Russell Park. The stall partition and toilet were damaged.
12:01pm: An officer was advised of a Fire Alarm Activation at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street. The facility called back and advised it was a False Alarm.
12:27pm: Arlena Hamling reported falling victim to a Phone Scam. The caller advised he was with a New York bank and they had won 2.1 Million Dollars. The caller was given Hamling’s personal information. The officer advised her to contact her bank and advise them of the issue and watch her accounts closely.
1:16pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulted in Monroe Cooper of CO. being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”
3:45pm: A Traffic Stop in the 400 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Jamie Blackmon of Jefferson being cited for, “No Valid DL.”
5:23pm: A caller requested Extra Patrol in the 400 Block of West McKinley Street overnight.
6:39pm: Bridget Allen reported a teenage boy was running into the street in front of oncoming traffic near the overpass on North Elm Street. The officer located the juvenile and transported him to the LEC, where he was picked up by a parent.
6:18pm: Lake City PD requested an officer’s assistance on an investigation. The officer assisted with information in the matter.
10:16pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Head Streets resulted in Austin Belger of NE. being cited for, “No Valid DL and Excessive Speed.”
